NOTE: Coupons were originally created to be emailed or handed out to select customers. There is currently no Sale feature. However...
Coupons can be used in a similar manner, by following these steps:
→Storefront Dashboard
→Create Coupon
→Discount code (This means “searchable coupon name”)
- This is case sensitive and should be a single word, without spaces.
- Use letters and numbers unique to your Storefront, but easy enough for the Buyer to find in a search.
- You may want to include Storefront Initials, Percentage off (no symbol), Month offered
- After the code, add one space and the word “coupon”, which will help buyers search all items with coupons, from the Landing Page Search Bar
- EXAMPLE: If my Storefront was “Antiques Express,” and I was offering 30% off, during July of 2019, this would be an appropriate Coupon Code: Jul201930AE coupon).
- Must Choose to apply coupon to “Single” or “All Items” from the dropdown alphanumeric
- list of your inventory items
- Set Start Date, Expiry Date, and Percentage/Amount Off
- These must remain the same for every inventory item to which you want to have this Coupon attached.
→Click Create, to save
NOTE:
Inventory Items with different percentages off require creating another Coupon, with a separate Discount Code (searchable coupon name) a space, and the word “coupon’ EX: “Jul201920AE coupon”
NOTE:
If you want to apply the same Coupon to several Inventory Items, or many
Items, but not all:
- You can do this, after creating the initial coupon for a Single Item
- By editing the appropriate Inventory Items to include the Coupon Discount Code (coupon name, space, coupon) in the Search Code ( meaning, tags) field.
- Like Discount Codes, Search Codes are case sensitive, and must be separated by a space.
- NOTE: Inventory items, at the bottom of your page, are currently displayed in order of listing date, however we will be changing this to alphanumeric order.
→Storefront Dashboard
→View/Manage Inventory
→Edit Inventory (Multiple or single item)
→Enter the Discount Code of the desired coupon, a space, and the word coupon
“coupon” into the Search Code field
→Select Inventory Items to which you want to apply this Coupon, by ticking the
square next to the title of each item.
→Click Update Selected Items
To see Inventory Items that are under each coupon, or all that have the word “coupon” in their Discount or Search Code:

Listing on the left (not the Product Search Bar at the top of the page,
under the GoAntiques logo)
